One or six acupuncture treatments are good for chronic back pain .
Chronic pain is very difficult to reduce in just a few treatments. Depending on the nature of the injury that is causing your pain it could vary from 5 appointment to several months of treatment.
It really depends on the cause of the pain. Sometimes results are the same day, but sometimes it can take months.
This is a harder question, as I do not know what happened to injure your back, how long it has been injured, and what other treatments you have had for it. In general, it can take as many as weekly treatments for a month for every year you have had the pain, and it can take as few as 8-12 weekly treatments. There are too many variables to be clearer.
It depends on the patient's severity. I usually recommend 12 sessions. Twice a week for the first three weeks is recommended if they are allowed financially or timely. After the sessions, I reassess to decide what to do. Sometimes I graduate them after 12 sessions or have them come back once a week or once a month.
Usually, it takes from 6-10 acupuncture treatments for chronic back pain, but it can take more or less depending on the patient's condition.
The number of treatments depends on a variety of factors. - time (how chronic it is) - cause - affected tissue - weight - lifestyle - willingness to comply with treatment plan For an evaluation, please contact me at your convenience. Brian M Salazar, AP, LAc, LMT

We start with 6 sessions at 2x a week for 3 weeks. Everyone responses differently to treatment but usually expect you to be 30-40% better by the 6th session. Then we will taper down to every other week, so on and so forth.
For chronic back pain, four acupuncture treatments are good.
4 treatments per year of problem
We will exam 1st. Then provide dry needling 1st. Patients will find instant results in general.
Depending on patients’ medical histories and conditions, each patient will have different responses. Patients will have to follow up in 3-7days depending on severity.
Patients will be examined again on how much difference they have experienced since the initial acupuncture treatment.
Then we can give patients a plan for symptomatology.
If we find limitations in improvements, we will apply different plans as a holistic approach.
Acupuncture with massage and. herbs can treat and relieve your chronic back pain gradually. The number of sessions will depend on the severity. I suggest you try it.
As many as you need. The answer is in the sciatica question.
There is no way to answer that question as every body reacts differently to acupuncture. I can tell you that I generally see my patients twice a week for several weeks to treat any kind of chronic pain.
Statistically, most studies show 8-10 treatments.

Keep in mind that's a statistical average range. Some people will require more treatment and some people will require less.
