Seasonal allergies can last any where between 4 to 8 weeks. If you know your child has seasonal allergies you may want to start your child on the allergy medication before he/she starts having symptoms. You will want to continue the allergy medicine for as long as your child is having symptoms. However do not use a nasal decongestant spray for more than 3 days unless your Dr says to. It could stop working and make the stuffiness worse.
You can take Allegra or Zyrtec daily for the season she has allergies. There is child dosaging available
As long as the spring and fall are here, summer and winter are low in
seasonal allergens.
