How many teeth can be missing for a partial denture?

I have 3 missing teeth. How many teeth can be missing for a partial denture?

If you want to have all three missing teeth in the arch replaced at the lowest possible cost, then a partial would be best of all options. If the three teeth are all adjacent to one another then a parital would be the best bet.
Depends if in different parts of the same jaw or contiguous
Recommend fixed rather than removable teeth like implants whence possible
Well the fewest teeth I like to place a partial on is four. One bicuspid and canine on each side. Occasionally I’ve only had two canines to anchor in to successfully. However any fewer than three or four teeth is risky.
