My son has occasional ringing in his ears. How often should children get hearing tests?

Occasional ringing in the ears is normal for everyone if it's only lasting up to a few minutes. Children's hearing is tested after they're born, when they enter school, and every 2-3 years while in school. If there are concerns, you'd see an audiologist to get it tested again.
