We would have to do a complete orthoped neuro. exam and possibly with xrays too formulate a treatment plan. The usual treatment plan is 2-3x/ wk for anywhere from 2-6 wks
A few times In conjunction with Physical therapy.
It depends on how badly you are hurt. How many bones are out of place? How much you hurt. How much inflamation you have in your body. Most people need 3 times a week for 1-2 weeks and then reduce visits to 2 times a week for 4-6 weeks. then reduce to 1 time a week, 6-8weeks then reduce visits to two times a month. and eventually 1 time a month. You get the idea. Chiropractors don't give you drugs to treat you. And send you away for a while, while you take the drugs for the treatment. The visits to the Chiropractor are the treatment.
It all depends
A- Dose your chiropractor practice corrective/ symptoms care?
B- The frequency, duration and intensity of your pain. Have you had X-rays ( seated / standing?) these are things you need
1- evaluation
2- diagnostics
3- treatment plan
4- ergonomic assessment ( home work and social )
5- self care

All these are most effective when the underlying cause is identified ( steps 1/2 & 3) all other steps are ancillary supports not cures or treatment.

Hope this was helpful

That will depend on the type and severity of the injury. Usually it would be multiple times a week to start and then go down to weekly and then possibly monthly for several months.
