I am 14 and want to get contacts. How old do you need to be to get contacts?

You can get contacts at any age but in my practice cosmetic use of contacts is limited to 13 and older because the success rate is higher and the experience is better tolerated.
Depends on the level of maturity and how responsible the kid is. I have fit an 8-year-old in contacts at one point due to his special needs.
