You should sleep in a position that is comfortable. The majority of the healing phase in your body, which includes muscle, occurs while you are sleeping. If you are unable to sleep you body has a difficult time properly healing and may delay recovery. Usually after straining a muscle (pulled muscle) decreasing the joint angle that the muscle controls is the most comfortable, but I tell my patients any position that allows you to sleep is better than not sleeping.
With your eyes closed.
Can you be more specific as to the location of the pulled muscle, thigh, calf, shin, or hamstrings?
Sleep in a way that does not put pressure on the injured limb.
I recommend sleeping in a way that avoids pressure on the injured muscle and avoids tension on the injured muscle.
