Hyperthyroidism/Cushing Syndrome?

I’ve been stressing about finances for about 2 years now, starting in early 2019. More stressors were added to that as time went on, such as the global pandemic and the physical changes that I’ve noticed as a result of the primary stressor. The symptoms manifested themselves and this chronological order:
- Fatigue (which became severe for a while)
- Lower sperm production/lack and loss of sexual desire
- Insomnia

I’ve been managing my stress in every way I can and have seen some slight improvement in all areas (the most improvement in my energy (less fatigued every day). But I still deal with low sperm production, lower libido, and insomnia. From my research online, I think I may have a case of either Hyperthyroidism or Cushing Syndrome, but I don’t know for sure. I think that once I balance all of my hormones, I can heal completely. What should I do?

Your symptoms could be related to stress, hormonal imbalances, or underlying conditions like hyperthyroidism or Cushing’s syndrome, but self-diagnosis isn't reliable. You should see an endocrinologist for proper hormone testing, including thyroid function (TSH, T3, T4) and cortisol levels. Managing stress is important, but medical evaluation is necessary to determine the exact cause and get the right treatment.
You must see your doctor to have a full and formal evaluation.
