Hypothyroid condition?

I have my thyroid medication at 5 am and my breakfast at 10 am. Is it okay to have a 5 hour gap in between?

Perfectly fine. You don't need that much gap.1 hour is more than sufficient. It is strongly recommended not to mix Vitamins with Iron, Calcium supplements and Iron supplement's with thyroid hormones.
That's great. It is recommended that there is at least one hour gap between the time you take the thyroid replacement medication (synthroid, levothyroid, levothyroxine) and the ingestion of food since food interferes with its absorption. If one has eaten before having taken the medication, a two hour gap is recommended before taking the thyroid replacement medication. Iron and calcium are additional items that can interfere with the absorption of thyroid replacement medications and should be taken hours (>4) before or after taking thyroid replacement.
Yes, the reason for taking the thyroid pill on an empty stomach is certain foods bind to the thyroid hormone and decrease absorption from the gut. There is no problem not eating after taking the pill. You are doing well with this approach.
Yes. You should not take any other medications or eat within 30min to 1 hour of levothyroxine. There is not a maximum time between these activities only a minimum of at least 30 minutes.
Yes. I always tell my patients to allow at least 30 minutes after taking the pill before they eat.
30 minutes before a meal is sufficient to take your thyroid medication. Taking the medication is more important than timing.

Yes. Thyroid hormone should be taken on an empty stomach with water only. Wait one hour until you eat or drink anything. You should not take thyroid medication with calcium, fiber, multivitamins or iron.
