I have a very swollen eyelid?

My right eyelid is very sore and swollen. It hurts to open and close and is getting worse. My eye is nearly shut because it’s so swollen.

It's probably a stye. Try warm compresses and it should heal itself.
Could be pre septal cellulitis. So, go to your eye doctor.
You have a chalazion with presentable cellulitis. Need to see a doctor for antibiotics and steroid-based ointment to go inside your eye.

You need to see an eye care provider right away. If one is not available, consider urgent care or your primary care doctor.

There are several possibilities for this condition. At the top of the list is an eyelid infection. Please go to the nearest urgent care, ophthalmologist office, or emergency room today or tomorrow to be evaluated.

A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed to determine the cause of your symptoms and receive appropriate treatment.
