Neurologist Questions Neurologist

I have been diagnosed with papilledema and now have ranula?

I am waiting to see neurology, but my ophthalmologist did not complete my referral 2 weeks ago, which has been corrected today I hope. I have started developing severe mouth symptoms and a high BP which I usually have low BP. I also have pain at c6 of my spine and into the cranium. I had a benign meningeoma resected from the lower left parietal lobe at 12 I am now 29 and all MRI presents tumor free and last scan was in 2018, the report indicates hydrocephalus of the left lateral ventricle, but no changes since last scan. I am concerned if my mouth swelling is related to my papilledema, the soft palate of my mouth is very painful when I eat. Tonsils, epiglottis and throat are fine and I don't feel flu sickness. I have nausea, headaches, vision changes and neck pain in the bone not referred into arms.

You will need to see an oral surgeon for your ranula, asap. Your neurological treatment is urgent to relieve your papilloedema.
