Podiatrist Questions Podiatrist

I have constant foot pain?

I’ve been having pain on the outside of my foot for about a week now. My foot isn’t swollen. I don’t have any memory of hurting my foot.

I recommend that you seek consult with a podiatrist asap. could be number of things that cause the symptoms you are feeling.
Not enough info or pix or exam results to be able to give a helpful answer. If the problem continues, see a podiatrist
You should be evaluated by a Medical Professional ie. Podiatrist. The main goal is to obtain an accurate diagnosis so proper treatment can be provided. Pain is one way our body tells us something is wrong. A week of pain without improvement is an excellent reason to have it evaluated.
From the picture, this looks like an ingrown toenail. You should see a foot specialist to explain the pathology and give you treatment options as there are many causes and that would help guide you to determine your best options.

MY BEST ADVICE IS FOR YOU TO VISIT A PODIATRIST. THAT KIND OF PAIN NEEDS TO BE EXAMINED TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE.
I would definitely have your foot looked at by a podiatrist. You could have a stress fracture, tendonitis, or a joint bothering you, just to name a few.
Could be gout. Need evaluation.
There are many things that can cause foot pain. You may have nerve related pain, tendon related pain, joint pain, pain due to vascular insufficiency, pain due to the way your foot is functioning and moving, trauma, and other reasons. It would be in your best interest to visit a foot and ankle specialist to help diagnose what the problem is and how best to treat the problem.
You may have sustained what can be called an overuse injury. I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment options
Several possibilities exist, but without any recent trauma, you may have developed tendonitis near the base of your fifth metatarsal.
