I have places on my rib that feel swollen?

Hi! I have a few places on my ribs that feels like my rib bone itself is swollen. And in those places, it hurts if pressed too hard. A few years ago, I helped clear out a patch of forest and was required to move the chopped-up logs. I'm not very strong, so I put the corners of the chopped logs against my torso and pried them up against me, so I could actually lift them.

I think this may be the cause. But it seems strange that hurting myself 3 years ago would cause the shape of my ribs in those harmed places to swell and cause discomfort. I have seen a nurse who simply looked at me. She claims that I have bone cysts from a past injury and should simply ignore them.

I have chronic anxiety though and I'm just worried. Would it take 3 - 4 years for trauma-induced bone cysts to be noticeable? Is that really the most likely thing?
