I have right side pain?

I am a 51 year old woman who is having pain and some discomfort in my right side. It comes and goes. This has been going on for weeks now. I don’t have a gallbladder and I did have gastric bypass years ago. It’s a flank, come and goes, and achy pain! I have been taking ibuprofen. And many years ago too, I also had a kidney stone. And I’m trying not to visit a doctor if possible.

I would ask your primary care provider if they could do an ultrasound to see if you have any kidney stones in the right side. From experience, people with flank pain usually have a kidney stone on that side. They can rule it out and then go from there.
Sounds like reoccurring kidney stones, but can be gynecological. Visit PCP and OB-GYN for pelvic and vaginal ultrasound.
Without seeing a doctor, you may not get very far. There are some long-term side effects from a gastric bypass that could be contributing to your symptoms. Long-term NSAID (anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen) can cause ulcers, especially in bypass patients, although that typically presents as left-sided pain. Kidney stones, diverticulitis, ovarian cysts, gastroenteritis, muscle strains... the list can go on.
This does not sound orthopedic. It may well be from your kidney. A doctor visit may well be necessary.
