I'm having COVID vaccine (Pfizer) side effects?

Hi, I got my first COVID vaccine (Pfizer) last Thursday (today is Wednesday), and since then I have been feeling very off. I've been very tired and feeling "bleh," which I know is expected, but I've also had some occasional chest discomfort or even pain. I don't feel like I'm needing to catch my breath, but I do feel like I need to take deep breaths more often than not. In addition, I've noticed my heart rate has been elevated quite often since last Thursday, even sitting at 107 last night while I was just sitting at my computer. Should I go get checked out?

Yes, you should go and get checked by your health care provider.

Thanks for the question.

Yes, see your doctor. The symptoms may or may not be related to the vaccine. Very rarely, the vaccine may be associated with heart inflammation or pericardial inflammation.

Yes, I recommend that you see a physician and be checked for your heart and also for alternative explanations - to strengthen the explanation of what you are experiencing.
