I'm having trouble peeing?

I have had trouble peeing and when I do there is a lot of pressure that feels like I need to push. Well on Sunday I started bleeding when I pee. I am 56 years old have had an ablation in 2009 that stopped my periods. Later I was diagnosed with IC why am I bleeding while peeing?

UTI
THERE ARE A FEW POSSIBILITIES, IT SAYS YOU TAKE NO MEDICINE SO I ASSUME YOU ARE NOT ON ANYTHING THAT WOULD THIN YOUR BLOOD, LIKE ASPIRIN. WHEN YOU URINATE, AND YOU ARE DONE, DO YOU STILL FEEL THE NEED TO GO? IF SO, THIS IS LIKELY A UTI, AND YOU NEED ANTIBIOTICS. THAT SYMPTOM IS PRETTY SPECIFIC FOR A UTI, AND MANY PATIENTS WITH UTI'S WILL HAVE SOME BLOOD IN THE URINE, AS THE BLADDER CAN BECOME INFLAMED, AND SMALL CAPILLARIES IN THE MUCOSAL SURFACE MAY CRACK AND BLEED A LITTLE. IF YOU ARE HAVING BRIGHT RED BLEEDING WHEN URINATING, THEN I SUGGEST YOU SEE A UROLOGIST. OTHERWISE SEE YOUR PCP AND GET ANTIBIOTICS
You seem to have bladder problems. You need to check with a urologist because you need investigation. If bleeding is coming with the urine, you need Cystoscopy of your urinary bladder by the urologist. It might also be best to see the GYN as well.
Gross hematuria may be associated with interstitial cystitis. Better to see a urologist to r/o other etiologies.
