Yes. Acupuncture with cupping, herbs, and sometimes massage works well for pneumonia and also the common cold.
Yes.
yes. I encourage you to book a session with your practitioner of choice to get help with relief.
I am not aware that acupuncture has any healing/therapeutic effects on pneumonia. It may help some of these symptoms associated with a lung infection such as for example the chest pain occurring with coughing. It may also help some of the shortness of breath that may be associated with pneumonia but that is not to say it is actually treating. The mainstay of treatment remains antibiotics for bacterial pneumonia and time, breathing treatments, and possibly oxygen for bacterial and nonbacterial pneumonia as well. Some viral pneumonia generally occurring in individuals with low immune system function may require specific antiviral treatments.
NO
Yes, acupuncture is good for pneumonia and daily watercress juice would be good to implement as well.
Yup, acupuncture can help strengthen your lungs, and your practitioner will most likely have herbs that you can take along with any meds your doc has given you to help clear the infection faster.
Yes, acupuncture can help for pneumonia.
When people ask me what acupuncture can be used to treat, I like to turn the question around and tell them the times when acupuncture is not appropriate. One of those times is acute or chronic bacterial infection.

Pneumonia can be life-threatening if not treated properly. If you have a chest x-ray showing lung consolidation and an MD/DO has diagnosed pneumonia, you need, at a minimum, to be on antibiotics. Depending on your symptoms and their severity, you could require hospitalization. Few practitioners of Chinese medicine are going to be able to offer either one of those things.
