If you desire to quit smoking, ear acupuncture with seeds can be a very effective modality. It can take some time to achieve success in quitting smoking (depending on the person, how long they have been smoking, how much they smoke, etc.).
Yes, there are ear acupuncture protocols to help with smoking cessation. I have people come in daily for 3 weeks and give them herbs to help clear the lungs and with anxiety, but every practitioner will be different.
Acupuncture can be help you to easily stop the smoking symptoms. When you stop smoking, it can create many discomforting symptoms, so acupuncture helps clear the discomforts.
Yes, there are protocols used to help detox the body, curb cravings, and regulate the system, while also addressing emotional components, if any.
Thank you for your question!
Congratulations on contemplating smoking cessation. In short, looking at acupuncture alone vs combined with counseling with a cessation program, the combination of a program with acupuncture is helpful for long term smoking cessation. Here is a link to the review article if you are interested:

"Acupuncture combined with counseling, educational smoking cessation program was more effective than acupuncture as mono therapy (alone) with regard to long-term smoking cessation."
Hope this goes well for you,

Acupuncture and Asian Medicine is a complete independent medicinal paradigm as an alternative medicine and it has established its own solution to almost all pathological conditions that have been available thousands of years. It does have protocol treatment for smoke cessation which has been proven to help reduce craving for nicotine but the problem is that lots of cases find smokers just smoke like a habit; what matters is patients' strong will to quit. But if you have not tried yet, I recommend it.
In recent studies, acupuncture has been shown to be an effective tool for smoking cessation*
There is a special program in Chinese medicine to quit smoking. However, first requirement is, you have to really really want to quit smoking! Second requirement is determination, willpower, and consistency. Third is follow through. It would involve coming every day for weeks for treatments. It would also involve commitment to coming several times a week for several weeks to handle the powerful cravings cigarette addiction produces. The total plan in all can last 6-9 weeks. But yes, it has a huge impact and a high success rate of around 90%!
May you be blessed with strength in improving your health and life and laying cigarette addiction to rest!

Yes, acupuncture can help with smoking cessation. It works better when you combined it with other stop smoking therapies, hypnotism, Nicorete gum, Nicotine patch, etc. Ear acupuncture "Auricular points" specifically the NADA (National Drug & Alcohol Addiction protocol. Ear seeds applied over these points can be used for acupuressure in between treatments. There is an extra point called "Pok's point" located on the top of the big toe. The NADA points interact with 3 'cranial nerves' that are connected directly to the brain. These points have successfully been used for years in treating cravings associated with heroin or nicotine. It is helpful to have in mind a strong intention with your motivation for why you want to stop smoking. Don't buy or have cigarettes around and avoid habit situations where you would have used to have a smoke.
Yes, there is an abundance of research regarding acupuncture and the cessation of smoking. There is even an acupuncture protocol called NADA, which can be very effective for any and all addictions.

Acupuncture can help reduce the withdrawal symptoms when you quit smoking, making the process easier.
Yes! I have been in practice for 35 years and I have a 90% success rate getting my patients off cigarettes. It is highly effective after only 1-2 treatments.

Yes, if you are committed and determined to quit.
There are treatments for stop smoking. When done with some kind of special counseling or hypnotherapy it can help with stop smoking and recovery from the toxins in the body.
Yes. I have an 8-day protocol that uses full-body acupuncture, ear acupuncture, and herbs to support the withdrawal process. The people who completed the 8 days are amazed by the results.
Yes, acupuncture and auriculotherapy can be a very effective tool in assisting in the creation of smoking.
Yes. Acupuncture can be very helpful in smoking cessation. In my experience, however, acupuncture works best when the patient is 100% willing to quit smoking AND put in any work necessary to break the habit (meditation, lifestyle changes, etc). It can help with the cravings, the habitual actions, and any withdrawal symptoms you may experience. It can also help with the side effects of smoking such as coughing or phlegm in your lungs.
Can acupuncture help if you want to quit smoking and are ready to quit smoking? Sometimes, yes. I'd strongly suggest combining acupuncture with another therapy like pharmaceuticals or behavioral therapy or both.
If you aren't ready to quit and aren't committed to quitting, acupuncture isn't going to help.
If you aren't ready to quit and aren't committed to quitting, acupuncture isn't going to help.
