Thank you for your question. Yes, Acupuncture can help and is an effective treatment for Carpal Tunnel. Seek out a licensed Acupuncturist in your area and get a consultation and they can tell you more directly how the Acupuncture can help your specific case. Good Luck! Sincerely, Yours in Health!
Acupuncture, along with therapeutic massage, and sometimes herbs, can be effective for carpal tunnel syndrome gradually.
Thank you for your inquiry about acupuncture. Yes, I have treated several patients successfully with a complaint of carpal tunnel. I hope that was helpful!
I know acupuncture will help for carpal tunnel (CTS) because my aunt, twice your age, had surgery for CTS then still complained about it. So I treated her and she said it felt better and I haven’t heard her complain about it since. It took a couple of treatments, acupuncture isn’t a one-shot miracle, but I believe it will help. Check with your primary to see if alternative medicine would be a good option for you.
Thank you for your question.
Acupuncture has shown great results for those with carpal tunnel in some people.
Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis carpal tunnel as a disruption in the flow of vital energy (Qi) and Blood. This is often due to Cold, Dampness or Wind penetrating the muscle group and aggravates the sinews in the hands and wrist.
Acupuncture treatments along with, stretching and very specific herbal remedies can help alleviate this syndrome. Acupuncture, particularly, estim-acupuncture, has shown great results for those with carpal tunnel in some people.
I hope this helps.

Absolutely! Acupuncture can help speed up the process of healing from carpal tunnel by increasing circulation to the area, decreasing inflammation and boosting the immune system response.

Yes, acupuncture is effective for carpal tunnel. Many people have avoided surgery for carpal tunnel using acupuncture and Chinese/Asian medicine.
Yes, acupuncture can help with carpal tunnel. Often, the pain in the wrist can come from the thoracic outlet just below the collar bone, so working on that with the acupuncture can sometimes help, as well.
As long as the carpal tunnel is fairly localized and only affecting the wrist/hand, yes, acupuncture can usually help to resolve the issue. If this is a severe case where the forearm or entire arm are now involved, acupuncture might help some, but the patient is most likely looking at a surgical fix.
Please make sure your acupuncture provider has an NCCAOM national board certification and either an L.Ac. or R.Ac. state credential. Without these things, you have no way of knowing their base level of training - which in the US can range from very little to quite a lot. To find a board certified provider in your area, you can use the 'Find a Practitioner' lookup at NCCAOM.org.
