Acupuncture with therapeutic massage and herbs helps move Qi blood which might help varicose veins. I recommend a couple of sessions to see.

Yes. I encourage you to book a session with your practitioner of choice to get help with relief.

Acupuncture has proven to be effective at reducing inflammation throughout the body including vascular inflammation (inflammation in veins including varicosities). Due to the nature of varicose veins, you'd want to be open to a series of treatments before deciding, and know that the problem that took years to develop may take months to address and to reduce your problem. The good news is there are few side effects and acupuncture is a safe way to approach this challenging issue.
It works, but you need several treatments.
I have never treated this with acupuncture. We have other techniques, like bleeding, that we do besides acupuncture.
Applying acupuncture needles will help invigorate the blood and break up blood stasis. The needles inserted into the varicose vein force blood flow to resume, and the clog is essentially wiped away.

* Efficiently reduce or remove spider veins

* Improves circulation to prevent clot build up
Yes, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is effective for varicose veins. This is seen as a "Spleen Qi Deficiency" in TCM and it can be even more beneficial to include Chinese herbal therapy as well.

I have not found acupuncture to be effective for varicose veins, however, if there is pain and a lack of circulation in the legs, then it can help.
YES, acupuncture can be effective for varicose veins. The results depend
There are five Chinese herbal formulas for varicose veins of which I’m aware. Acupuncture can increase blood flow and circulation, which can aide in mitigating continuation of varicose veins.
Varicose veins is a rather insidious condition. Certainly acupuncture can help with any kind of pain, but the individual would want to make some lifestyle changes and take certain herbs and vitamins, in particular vitamin C with rutin and bioflavonoids to help strengthen capillary integrity.

It can but it will take some time.
Yes, very much. It needs knowledge of treating this disorder.
Yes. Acupuncture can be an effective treatment for varicose veins.
Yes, acupuncture is effective for varicose veins.
There may be techniques of which I am unaware, so I would call the acupuncturists near you and ask them if they have had success with varicose veins.
Acupuncture can sometimes be effective for varicose veins. It will most likely help a great deal if there is pain involved. It may help resolve the varicosities themselves, but usually bleeding is much more effective.

The varicosities themselves should not be bled, but there is often superficial venous congestion (so-called 'spider veins') that presents with varicose veins. These spider veins can be bled and this often helps to reduce the venous pressure in the low leg and provide relief.

Most acupuncturists are trained in bleeding techniques. Unfortunately, not everyone continues this practice. Some states also restrict the performance of this particular technique.

My best suggestion is to use the 'Find a Practitioner' link at NCCAOM.org and locate some local providers. Call around, explain your situation, and see if any of them will perform a bleeding treatment for you. Again - please make sure that they're not planning to bleed the varicose veins themselves.
