Yes, behavioral therapy, especially Applied Behavior Analysis ABA, is effective in supporting skill development and behavior improvement in children with autism. If you have any further questions or need more clarity, please consult with a psychiatrist. If youre in Texas, we welcome you to reach out to www.MidCitiesPsychiatry, were here to help you.
I'm sorry I don't work with those on the spectrum. However, I've heard of ABAB therapists being helpful by coming to your home and working with the client and family.
The best effective treatment for autism is ABA therapy ( applied behavioral analysis).
Thank you for your question. Behavioral Therapy can be an effective component with Autism within a multidisciplinary team.
yes to all the questions but one might need meds as well as more than just behavioral treatment
Yet behavioral therapy, as time- and labor-intensive as it may be, remains the foundation of skill-building for most children with autism. For any child with autism, when skills appear behind peers or behavior remains disruptive, reconsidering the amount and type of behavioral therapy received is a fundamental first step towards a solution.
