No, that is in fact a great habit. Just use the proper technique as taught to you by your dentist. Good luck.

Toothbrush bristles are quite soft and engineered so they don't damage teeth. However, some toothpastes are excessively abrasive, so you should use toothpaste a maximum of twice per day and herbal toothpaste a maximum of once per day
I highly recommend it. Bacteria plaque forms on the teeth. If this is not removed it causes all kinds of problems from bone loss, decay and can get into the bloodstream and can harm the heart. We must premeditate people with joint replacement because these bacteria are harmful to joints. Everything is connected in the body and it is medically necessary to floss often.
Ideally, you should be brushing your teeth after every meal, so brushing more than twice a day is actually good. Just make sure you are using a soft bristle toothbrush and are not brushing very hard as this can wear away your enamel and make your teeth more sensitive.
Brushing teeth 3 times a day is good and recommended. However, do not use hard bristle and do not brush too long. This habit may cause tooth abration and gum receeding.
