“Is cheek implant surgery painful?”

In order to place the cheek implants, incisions are made inside the oral cavity and to allow exposure of the cheek bones when you are asleep under general anesthesia. These incisions are later closed with sutures that dissolve over time. There will be some swelling and soreness, especially in the first week or so. The soreness/ pain is adequately relieved with NSAIDs.
