Is it better to lose weight before liposuction?

I am a 30 year old female. I want to know if it is better to lose weight before liposuction?

Liposuction is not meant for weight reduction, rather for body shaping. Best to see a board certified plastic surgeon and get an honest opt.
It would be best if you were within 20 pounds of your ideal body weight.
Absolutely. I generally advise patients who plan to lose any significant amount of weight to do that prior to any body contouring surgery.
If you can lose enough weight, then there would be no need for the liposuction. Liposuction is a good procedure properly done. However, if you have a lot of weight to lose, you may need some skin tightening after the procedure. If there is a large amount of weight loss over several areas, the procedure may be in two or more sessions.
It is always better to be as close to your desired ideal weight before adjusting your shape.

It is always optimal to be at or near your goal weight before a body contouring surgery. This will give you better results. Talk with your doctor about your surgical expectations to achieve an outcome you will love.

Yes it is better to get down to your goal weight prior to surgery. It allows us to make a more exact assessment of what surgery might be required.
Liposuction is not a weight reduction tool. It is best to treat fat that doesn't respond to diet and exercise. Likewise after surgery if you over eat you will develop fat some place else.
