I am a 37 year old female. I want to know if it is better to pull a tooth or get a crown?

Put a crown on your tooth and keep it to chew with.
Usually if you can save a natural tooth it is a recommended treatment. Once the teeth are removed the supporting bone resorbs over time some times quickl.y. Once bone is gone it can be very difficult and in some cases impossible to regain.
Not enough information, but if a tooth can be saved, that should be better than pulling it.
Always save your teeth. So, it's better to get a crown.
