I will get partial dentures. Is it hard to talk with partial dentures?

There is a slight adjustment period for some people. More for some than others. The more you wear, function and talk with partial dentures the the quicker you adapt to them.
It takes about 3 to 4 weeks before you get adjusted to talking with partials. It depends also on how many teeth are being replaced and how bulky the partials are.
It should not be hard talking with a partial denture unless it covers a front part of the palate then at the beginning some words might sound a little different. It will take 1-3 weeks to adapt to the new denture.
