Neurologist Questions Neurologist

Is it my eyes or my brain?

I’ve had a problem for about a year and a half. My tv is on the wall in front of me, horizontally. It becomes sitting vertically. My closet doors appear on the floor. The ceiling fan appears on the wall where the doors were, straight out from the wall. I do not know whether to see a neurologist or eye doctor. Any answers?

I also have a problem with suddenly falling. I am unable to stand or get up. My legs and arms jerk like a seizure. I do not lose consciousness and I’m able to talk. It use to last just a few minutes and I could get up. It has gradually lasted longer. The last time it was three days before I could walk. I have been to a few neurologists but I don’t have an answer. One dr. said it was a migraine aura without the pain. Same thing the author of Alice in Wonderland had. He told me to take Magnesium and it would take care of both. I’m taking Magnesium but no difference in either. Any suggestions?

You need eye exam , and then several tests such as visual field and depending on results a neurological consult and maybe brain scans . But first thing : eye exam
A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed to determine the cause of your symptoms.
Sounds like you need a neurologist.
It's either your brain or your inner ears. It's definitely not your eyes.
Hello, Thank you for your question and brief medical information. Those are unusual visual symptoms. I see you wear glasses. Your optometrist could perform a very thorough eye exam. They may refer you to a Neuro-Ophthalmologist for further evaluation of your brain processing issues.
This is not ophthalmic it’s is neurological in the nature of a migraine. I don’t have a good remedy. You could try L Arginine 500 mg three times a day. It is a vitamin. It helps circulation. You need to go to a neurologist who deals with migraines.
