Is it normal for a 15 year old to forget a lot of things?

I’m 15 years old and I forget almost everything. I can’t remember how to get to places I’ve been multiple times, I can’t remember things about people unless I write it down and constantly look at it, I can’t remember most of my life up until I was 12, and other things. It really scares me because I’m so forgetful.

No, it is not normal to have the memory problems you describe. They may be from a treatable medical cause. You need to see your medical doctor or Pediatrician .
Some forgetfulness can be common and even normal in even young people. However, if it gets to the point that yourself or others are concerned about it, then it warrants an evaluation. It is important to keep in mind that testing, if negative, usually means that lifestyle factors can be at least partially at fault. Lack of sleep, stress, anxiety, depression, among others are among the most common reasons for memory issues in an otherwise healthy individual.
You may have ADD ( Attention deficit disorder). Other problems may also be possible like absence seizures ( Petit mal ) but less likely.  Have your parents talk to your pediatrician and see a Neurologist or psychiatrist.
