Sometimes an easy solution is adjusting the bite, the filling may be a tad "high". Contact your dentist for advice.
It happens sometimes...does your bite feel high? if so get back in for a bite adjustment,,, if not sensitivity usually dies down over comings days and weeks...if it escalates get back in to see your dentist.. Take Care.

The short answer is yes. I would still touch base with your dentist to inform them of the type of sensitivity you are having. Depending on the size and depth of the filling determines the amount of sensitivity. Sensitivity after a filling is likely for a few days or weeks.
It is not uncommon to experience some sensitivity after certain types of fillings. Sometimes this can even last between 4-6 weeks. However, if the sensitivity increases or if you are not able to function moving forward you should see the dentist again.
This is completely normal straight after the treatment has finished. It’s important to avoid hot and cold foods for at least a few hours while your filling sets. Pain should subside within a week or so and sensitivity should stop after two to four weeks. If it continues for longer, contact your dentist.

Replacing old fillings or doing fillings that are deep may cause some sensitivity. If the sensitivity continues for more than 4 - 6 weeks then contact your dentist.
Hi,
It is normal to have some degree of sensitivity after a filling. Usually, the sensitivity is proportional with the size of the cavity, and it normally goes away in few weeks.

Sensitivity can develop in the first two-three days after a filling as there are chemical bonds that are still forming with the tooth. If sensitivity persists please contact your dentist to address it.
Yes, it is normal but applying sensodyne toothpaste can help reduce your symptoms considerably. You would need to do this overnight by applying a pea size amount to the area that bothers you for the next 4-6 weeks on a consistent basis. If after that doesnt help, please return back to the dentist for a reeval.
