Yes, it is possible if the pneumonia area is small and located away from major bronchi. It’s possible with so-called atypical pneumonias.
It is possible to have Pneumonia without cough though most patients will have some fever, cough, shortness of breath and chest discomfort. Different patients may have different symptoms that may predominate.
