My friend was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Is it possible to live a full life with schizophrenia?

I am sorry but the question is too broad as there are many types of psychiatric symptoms diagnosed as schizophrenia. Some have a good prognosis others find adequate treatment lacking in schizophrenia.
However I believe almost all illnesses including those labeled schizophrenia to be treatable. The problem is always cost. The best medications are quite expensive.

Living a full-life with schizophrenia requires medication prescribed by a psychiatrist, along with excellent management by the patient and team supporting the individual. Schizophrenia is a chronic mental health condition, and no cure currently exists. With the right medication, good management of medications, and counseling/psychotherapy, a person can live a productive life.
