“Is it safe to Doxylamine this way?”
Is it generally safe to take Doxylamine Succinate long term in the following fashion? 5 times a week, 7.5 mg. I have no allergies or other similar conditions. I've been taking it for 3 years now, 3 times a week, and I'm very satisfied with it. It's the best sleep intervention for me and have tried literally everything (CBT strategies, ACT strategies, melatonin. I take a low dose of lorazepam twice a week and don't intend to expand that one). I'm a neurotic, I have chronic GI issues, mild anxiety and depression (on fluoxetine as well), but otherwise healthy and fit. 44 year old woman. Thank you!

If it is working for you, I would suggest continuing the antihistamine. Be careful with your job, as antihistamines are associated with minor errors, and thus are not used routinely in aviation.
If you have tolerated it so far then it should be fine.
