“Is lactose intolerance hereditary?”
I have a history of lactose intolerance in my husband’s family. His father, grandfather, uncles and my husband are all lactose intolerant. I am now 4 months pregnant and I am worried if my child with have the same problem too. Please advice.

Lactose intolerance is not a genetic condition. It is caused by loss of the ability to digest lactose. However it is too possible for your child to develop this condition later in life.
