Is laying on hard floor good for your back?

I have back pain for 2 weeks. I heard laying on a hard floor can help.

Getting on the floor with your knees up over a chair can bring relief. It also means your bed is not giving you enough support.
Not necessarily. Sometimes lying on a hard surface can help create a little traction in the lower back and it might help to relax the lower back muscles, but it does not correct misalignment issues or change arthritic or discal issues. Give it a try to see for yourself. It shouldnt cause any problems.
