My grandmother will move to palliative care. Is palliative care in the hospital?

No. Palliative care, also called hospice care is not in a hospital. It is done either at the patient's home or a nursing home setting. A hospice care provider will take care of all services for the patient. A patient on Palliative care that requires a hospital stay will be dropped from Palliative care.
