Is severe lower back pain and slight abdominal cramping normal at 35 weeks and 4 days?

I am currently 35 weeks and 4 days pregnant and am having severe lower back pain and slight abdominal cramping whenever I lay down. I have some nausea along with it but haven't gotten sick. The back pain eases up somewhat when I sit up but not that much. I'm due July 10th and don't want to get worried about something that I might not need to be concerned about. Is this normal or should I be getting concerned?

Anytime you are having abdominal pain at this point in the pregnancy, I would recommend you get checked. It would be best to see your doctor.
Hello,

So, at this gestation, pretty much any pain in your abdomen, pelvis, or back are totally normal as long as there is nothing with it (such as bleeding or fever) and as long as you have fetal movement. This pain you have will probably get worse as time goes on.
Good luck with everything.
