From the history you provided, I am a bit confused. Usually, people stand on their heels (back) or toes (front) of their feet. If you have flat feet (which is not mentioned in the question), then perhaps you stand more on the arch of your foot (since it is not high, some of the weight goes through it). When you mention ‘when walking on the uneven ground’, I wonder if that is with or without shoes or sneakers. Finally, I am curious as to where the knee pain is. If it is the front of the knee, that is different than if it is along the sides. Perhaps the alignment of your lower extremities makes your feet pronate (turn down and out when weight-bearing). Therefore, from your feet upwards to your hips, you can too much pressure across your front-inner knee and outer hip area.
I believe in stretching the right way and rebalancing your lower extremity muscles, and strengthening the muscles around your arch, can offer some lasting relief. I like this link:
