Neurologist Questions

Leg, arm numbness and tingling w/alot of other neurological symptoms

Would the ER do an MRI because my arms and legs keep going numb and tingly and when it gets really bad i cant use my hands or walk at all. It usually happens on my right side but yesterday it started in my left thigh and then moved all the way down and then went to my right leg and then my left arm. They also get extremely heavy and they are constantly weak. I have alot of other symptoms too like, dizziness, balance issues, back pain, a drunk feeling, heat intolerance, slurred speech etc, etc, etc. I don't see my neurologist again until the middle of October. I have had a lot of blood work done and only my vitamin d was low so I have been taking vit d supplements, magnesium, vit a, and vit b. I also had an MRI of my brain in 2020 that was normal so my neuro said she would but didnt really see the point in doing another one. I'm so exhausted and don't know what to do?

You need to see your Neurologist or have your primary or Psychiatrist refer you to a Neurologist to have a comprehensive evaluation ( MRI and EEG ) to determine if there's a  physiological cause and determine the most adequate treatment. Don't delay doing this.
They probably wouldn’t do an MRI in the ER. If you had COVID before your symptoms began, you might have “Long COVID “ and if you have muscle pain with extremely tender spots in some muscles, you could have fibromyalgia. You can read about both online at reputable
websites ( The Cleveland Clinic, The Mayo Clinic, and Johns Hopkins, for example), and if what they describe sounds to you like what you are experiencing, then mention them to your doctor. Both disorders would have a normal MRI.
