Long term effects from natural gas exposure?

I was exposed to natural gas fumes at work and was very sick for a few days. I suspect that the gas was leaking slowly for some time before it became apparent, as I had been experiencing intermittent headaches and brain fog/forgetfulness for weeks prior. I seem to be okay now, but are there any long-term effects that I should be aware of? I mentioned this to my family doctor who said that there's nothing that can be done now.

There’s nothing that needs to be done. The exposure causes its effects immediately and then diminishes over time. There are no long-term ill effects I am aware of.
Not aware of any long-term side effects of natural gas exposure. Low-level exposure can give you some of the symptoms you experienced.
