“Low blood pressure? ”
My mother, age 82 blood pressure is 124/42. She’s been feeling super tired and dizzy lately. Her medications are Losartan and Amlodipine 5mg. Is the lower number 42 something to be concerned about?

So sorry your mom broke her femur. The 42 is a bit low, and you should have her see her doctor. She may still be a bit anemic from the fracture, or may need to have her medication doses lowered a bit if the hemoglobin is OK, and she is not anemic.
Her b/p is fine. Do not be overly concerned with a low diastolic. Her symptoms are not typical of low blood pressure.
