Cardiologist Questions Cardiologist

Medical advice?

About two years ago I went on vacation and from there, I started to feel tired, palpitations, and very cold. I went to a general doctor and she sent me to see a cardiologist. The cardiologist put me on a Holter for 1 month and found that have ischemia at 10%. I was feeling bad for almost a year. When one of the cardiologists send me carvedilol and I started taking it, it really helped me a lot but after a month the symptoms were back. I decided to go to another specialist and then he decided to make a catheterism and found nothing. Then, I was feeling good but again after 3 months of being good, I started to feel the same and now again, I am taking carvedilol and it helps me a lot again. Also, I cannot even drink a little alcohol because I feel like I can not breathe, very cold, and as if I am going to faint. I just want to know what do you think is best for me to do. If I just take carvedilol or I should seek a doctor?

You are too young to have these cardiac issues. What was the reason prescribing Carvedilol? You should finish a complete cardiac work-up including Echocardiogram. When everything is okay, then try to investigate your thyroid gland in the neck. If hyper function, then you need to treat that. Hyperthyroid can produce similar cardiac symptoms. You should also have blood tests, chemistry electrolytes, etc.
Good Luck.
