Mirena usage?

So I have been using Mirena since after my second child. I haven't had a period for 11 years I'm seriously scared to have a period after not having one for so long. Mine used to be so painful and vicious. When I get the Mirena taken out I'm not getting another one. What can I expect? Do you think my periods will be as bad as I'm hoping they wont be? I'm really actually scared. Sometimes it hurts bad to have sex. I get ovary pain a lot. Often it feels like my uterus could fall out. I get sharp sudden pains.

Another Mirena would be an option, you didn’t seem to want that. You may need a low-dose birth control pill as an option to reduce the flow and pain with lenses. The 1st cycle may not be bad as you have had the IUD. After that it is unpredictable. You’ll just have to see.
