OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions Miscarriage

Miscarriage again

Hi,
Good evening, u recently had a miscarriage few days ago and my husband and I are very devastated because this is our 2nd Rainbow baby. My Dr had told me 2 weeks ago that my progesterone & potassium are low. Do you know what I can take or do to bring those up to level so I can hold my future baby?

Thanks so much in Advance

Yes, I can help you with balancing your hormones to increase your progesterone level. A healthy progesterone level is needed for the uterine lining to permit implantation & sustain the pregnancy. We can additionally address the potassium deficiency. I'm sorry for your losses. Dr. S. Tejeda OES
Hello, Most miscarriages are due to a genetic abnormality in the fetus. Low progesterone can be an issue and can be supplemented by your doctor, if that is the case. However, there are a number of other issues related to frequent miscarriage. These can be investigated by an Infertility specialist. RWV, MD.
