OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions

Missed period & negative pregnancy test

I'm 28y. Im trying to conceive. I have irregular periods since start varying from 30-45 days sometimes 53 days, no PCOS not diabetic. Im having 36 period cycle since last 6 months. Today It's 46th day and my last period was on July 9th. Now missed periods, negative pregnancy test (done on 19th August) at home but having mild lower back cramps and I feel more mood swings and feeling very anxious without reasons. What is the condition? What should I do ? Am I pregnant?

You should take a pregnancy test. If you are not pregnant you should see a gynecologist. If you are pregnant you should see an obstetrician
Even though you do not have PCOS is looks like you are still having problems with ovulation. You need to have evaluation with labs and ultrasound and my possibly need fertility treatments.
Thank you for your email. I am out of the office, please call the nurses for any urgent issues.
You are not likely pregnant, however, if you want to confirm that, you can see your GYN or a walk in clinic to be tested. The condition you have is anovulatory menstrual cycles. This means that you are not developing and releasing an egg (follicle) regularly each cycle. Since this has been going on for some time, you may need to see your GYN to do some testing and possibly start you on medication to help you ovulate regularly.
