OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions Obstetrician-Gynecologist

My period came 10 days early. Is this a problem?

I normally have regular periods every month but this month it came 10 days early. Could this be an issue?

This may not be a concern as this appears to be an isolated occurrence. It is worth remembering a menstrual cycle is a 21- 35 day phenomenon and this should be taken into context if any changes appear to deviate from the norm.
Get hormone testing and see your gynecologist for proper testing.
It is normal for your periods to be off the schedule sometimes. It is not uncommon for periods to change timing if you are under stress (either emotional or physical) or you have been dieting or exercising. Sometimes sickness can also cause changes in the periods. Usual recommendation is to wait for your next cycle and if that is normal, then you are okay.

To be on safe side, I will advise you to do a pregnancy test and also, if it is negative, wait for another week. If your period does not come in another week, then you should visit your ob/gyn for a hormonal panel.
