I had a decompressive craniotomy and my skull was stored in the subcutaneous pocket about 3.5 months ago. Is the subcutaneous pocket feel warmer to the touch than the other side? I was worried about infections to the skull flap

Signs of infection are typically redness, swelling and warmth. This a
concern you should call the neurosurgeon about.
Yes, this is concerning. Please go to ER for brain and skull images and blood work ASAP.
If the area around or above the implanted skull fragment is warm, red, and swollen there may be an infection; although it's not uncommon to have a mild warmer temperature around the area due to increased blood flow. Give your Dr. a call a d have it checked out. Good luck.
