“Odd sound in my head sometimes when I blink?”
I am a 70 year old male diabetic. Sometimes, mostly after waking up and sometimes continues for hours: I will hear a sound in my head when I blink. Almost electrical sound. Kinda like PHISST sound. I am not joking, This is interfering with part time job as police dispatcher. (Retired Officer) I appreciate any help you can give me. Not running me crazy but is disconcerting!

A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed to determine the cause of your symptoms.
I would recommend neurology consult
Not familiar with those particular symptoms. A whooshing sound in your head can be a sign of a vascular problem in your ears, orbits, or head. See a neuro-ophthalmologist. SO
