“Opened unrefrigerated cake frosting?”
I ate some frosting from a can of frosting that had already been opened and used by someone else in my family but it was not refrigerated after opening and has been in the cabinet for about 2 months. I only tasted a spoonful and was going to put them on cupcakes before I realized the label said to refrigerate after opening. Will I be ok?

That is unlikely to make you sick. Probably not enough of a bacterial exposure to cause an infection.
