“Pain days after heart cath?”
I had a heart cath done 3 days ago the pain gets worse every day. They went in at the wrist. I hurt mostly on the inside of my arm all the way to the armpit. Mostly shoulder on the outside of the arm hurts. The shoulder is warm to touch some swelling a little bruising. Is the pain normal and when will it stop?

That type of pain after a heart catheterization from the wrist is not normal. This can be caused to injury to the blood vessels in the upper arm or shoulder and very rarely could be caused by infection. This type of problem requires immediate attention with your physician/cardiologist.

Not normal. You need a vascular study of your upper extremity.
You should phone the ward you were in and ask them to arrange an urgent check.
Does happen, might be a little hematoma, should improve with time, could be a few weeks.
