People physical activities may vary depending on goals, lifestyle and work schedule. Knee and back pain limit’s physical activity. We normally will recommend patients to walk up hills if they have hill’s available. This will diminish knee pain depending on the source of the knee pain. Waking, biking or swimming will be good options.
Low impact, cardio, and resistance training
Water aerobics is best and bicycling is second best. You should try and see if a daily regimen of 10 minutes a day is something you can do pain free. After a week try increasing it to 20 minutes. Water aerobics provide resistance without the gravity so it should (typically) not strain your knee or back too much.
Stationary bike and light weight lifting exercises might help. For accurate dignity and treatment plan see an orthopedic surgeon.
